  • khamzat is not hype man .... look at his previous fights on FIstream and his training ... that guy works in the gym like no other ... he is going to be next phenomenon .... you will see

  • With what khamzat has shown so far, the ufc has an obligation to protect his opponents. Plus I don't imagine many unranked fighters wanting to fight him either so this fight def makes sense

  • From what I took out of the Dana White interview js that Nate Diaz vs. Justin Gaethje. Charles Oliveira is fighting for the belt next.

    Cole HughesCole HughesUukausi sitten
    • I don’t see Khabib deciding to come back bc he can’t retire without fighting Oliveira. It’s the toughest matchup in the top of the division for him and he doesn’t have a big name and following to make the challenge he presents worth it. Also no way Oliveira fights Conor next without another win either. Dana said Conor is fighting for the title next no matter what. Maybe if chandler wins they will give Khabib another stylistically favorable matchup and then he can retire at 30-0. I was thinking more of Nate vs Oliveira if they can get Nate to take it and Conor vs Gaethje for the title. Clearly the hope is Conor vs Khabib for the title and if not at least Gaethje is a favorable matchup for Conor. Then after Oliveira gets that rub from beating the living shit out of Nate they can match him up with Conor or Gatchje for the title.

  • Randleman was so hard-core, he probably _was_ taking years off of his life. Also, that was very insightful, your take on UFC's booking of Edwards/Khamzat.

  • 45:00 "Masvidal at 155?" 😂 Diaz vs Masvidal 2 at 170 would make sense. Jorge almost died making 170 against Usman

    Brendan NelsonBrendan NelsonUukausi sitten
    • @Brendan Nelson pretty incredible that he even made it to a title fight in wec at 155. but his body has also changed a lot since those days. but he probably should have always been at 70

      ZachZachUukausi sitten
    • @CT Gaming he makes WW with relative ease, I don’t think the short notice weight cut was quite what they made it out to be. I feel a lot of that is marketing for a rematch in a fight he is simply overmatched in.

      ThabestevahThabestevahUukausi sitten
    • @Brendan Nelson agreed and I’m well aware of that however the argument u made in your original comment talking about masvidal struggled to make weight against usman is invalid. He struggled because it was short notice but I think he makes welterweight fairly well

      CT GamingCT GamingUukausi sitten
    • @CT Gaming I've been following Masvidal for years. He used to really struggle making 155 and his cardio at that weight was sketchy

      Brendan NelsonBrendan NelsonUukausi sitten
    • He almost “died” because it was short notice. I doubt his weight cut is bad when he knows about a fight in advance

  • It is criminal how disrespected Max has been in the lead up to this fight. This guy is 29 years old. Never been knocked down or finished since his very first fight in the UFC. He has insane striking... boxing and Muay Thai. He is sneaky good on the ground and in his take down defense. If he does get taken down he gets right back up. I see this fight going very much the same way the Ortega fight did except Max will be even more dominate because he doesn’t have to respect Kattar’s ground game the way he had to with Ortega. Max is already the Champion at featherweight and he will have his strap back by the end of 2021.

  • Khamzat will win dominantly. He is vastly overrated. His whole streak is full of past their prime fighters, “never were’s” or guys out of their weight class. By the time the fight happens he will not have fought in almost two full years. He can’t finish fights. He’s boring. He has Bellator written all over his future and he beats none of the top guys in the 170 pound class. Not Usman. Not Burns. Not Colby or Masvidal. I don’t think he even beat an older Wonderboy. Khamzat is anything but hype and people will find out exactly who the future of the weight class is that fight.

    Raylen GivensRaylen GivensUukausi sitten
    • @A1 N19 he has been called out by tons of guys and ignored them all bc he wanted to jump straight to the top of division. Magny and Holland have been calling this man out since he showed up with no response and no fight booked. I didn’t day he ducked anyone, I said he avoided them. It makes sense if you can fight a top 3 guy to do that. But when you come in and talk about fighting every week and then shelf yourself until you can get a top 5 opponent all of that tough talk rings hollow. I’m sure the UFC had a hand in that but if he was saying no I want to keep active they could have kept him active. He had plenty of guys willing to fight him no matter what scenario you make up in your head about two entire divisions being terrified of him.

      A1 N19A1 N19Uukausi sitten
    • @Raylen Givens the only WW Khamzat has faced in the UFC was also a natural LW, the difference is that guy has never been ranked in the top 50 of either weight class lol. Not being able to beat the top 5 of the division doesn’t mean you suck. Leon has fought high level fighters, Khamzat has avoided even mid level fighters and is jumping straight to the top of the division after a bunch of time off despite the BS talk of fighting once a week.

      ThabestevahThabestevahUukausi sitten

    CasualCasualUukausi sitten
    • @Thabestevah no. I literally wrote Khamzat will when then in response and that Leon is overrated. How are you going to tell me what I wrote or meant!? Me response was in response to the original post bruv. I also have to disagree with you on the “rusty” conspiracy theory going around. He (Edwards) will have been rusty rather it would have been in December or the reschedule. Unless you ask him... where he loudly talks about how he will destroy Khamzat even a month after fighting Magny of Chiesa (had the UFC given him one as a replacement.) if anything the UFC is doing him a favor by his way of thinking. Khamzat should just be a quick gimme win on his way to the title. People can’t have it both ways.

      Raylen GivensRaylen GivensUukausi sitten
    • @Raylen Givens no, you literally wrote that Khamzat will win. He is vastly overrated. I understood fine by the time the entire thing wrapped up but using the other persons name is helpful when talking about multiple people. Was just taking the piss a bit. Really would have loved to see Leon fight again instead of the UFC keeping him shelved, I almost feel like it’s an attempt to have him rusty when he steps in with Khamzat to try to get them the result that they very obviously want.

      ThabestevahThabestevahUukausi sitten
    • @Thabestevah Khamzat will win and Leon is vastly overrated. You have a problem with reading comprehension?

      Raylen GivensRaylen GivensUukausi sitten
    • @A1 N19 it’s taking him till at least March to recover from Covid apparently. Hopefully nothing else happens to him or Leon in that two months.

  • As far as your comments regarding the Edward's fight. Both of you are criticizing on all the negatives rather than giving the man credit. Just watching both of you crying like a couple of bit-ches obviously about all the possible negatives. Obviously none of you are fight promoters!!! Who cares if Leon fights the number 5 or 4 ranked person. Will those matches sell ppv or will an underdog story with a huge potential of making another star. Both of you are B - I - t -Ch-es!!!
